Matt Eich is a photographer who pairs essays with images to bring a story full circle. Most of Matt Eich’s work is related to, “memory, family, community, and the American condition”. My favorite project of Matt’s is called, Volume I, Carry Me Ohio. In this series Matt Eich captures portraits and landscapes that accurately portray the eeriness and strangeness of families in rural parts of Ohio. Eich’s photographic technique captures human emotion and how one’s environment is reflected onto one’s personality.
