I included so many of Jessica Tremp's photographs because I am in love with them. Jessica has a beautifully dark color palette that makes her pictures feel surreal. A beautiful thing about Tremp is her ability to create a multitude of different bodies of work. My favorite piece of work by Jessica is called, On Motherhood. In this series Jessica shows what it personally feels like to be a mother. In one of the pictures she looks as if she is drowning while holding her child above water, which represents the sacrifices she must make as a mother.
